Does best in full sun, well-drained soil kept evenly moist, not wet. To promote branching, pinch the shoot tips when the plants are 4 to 6 inches tall. To promote the production of more leaves , pinch off the flowers as they form.

Leaves may be used fresh or dried in culinary dishes.
Put Vases filled with basil down the middle of a table. Flies do not like the ordor, and they'll find somewhere else to land
