Thymus citriodorus
Lemon Thyme
Very popular, attractive herb with exceptionally flavorful leaves. This bushy upright growth, is brightly variegated, with golden foliage. It is extremely decorative and intensely lemon-scented. These variegated varieties are considered slightly less hardy and may need winter protection. Use with fruit, iced tea, broiled fish and poultry for a lovely citrus accent. Lavender flowers attract bees to the garden and thyme honey is highly valued.
