Tortellini with Herb Cream Sauce

Prepare tortellini according to package directions; drain and keep hot. Meanwhile, simmer cream in a heavy saucepan until reduced to 1 cup, about 15 minutes. Mix in tomato sauce, oregano, and thyme; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and whisk in butter and cheese. Pour over hot tortellini and toss gently.

1 1/2 C. whipping cream
1 C. tomato sauce
1 1/2 tbsp. fresh oregano; minced
1 tsp. fresh thyme; minced
1 tbsp. unsalted butter
1/2 C. Parmesean cheese; freshly grated
