Squash are easy to grow and produce high yields if kept picked. Steam, stir-fry or slice raw into salads. At the dinner table (or straight from the plant!), you'll appreciate the rich, smooth bite for which yellow summer sqaush is justly famous. These fruits have a nice full crook and small blossom scar. These fruits are great eating all summer long. Best picked when they are 5 to 6 inches long.
Plant 4'' (1.2m) apart, mulch and water well. Pick while skins are soft.
